At one
time, when Heron Dance was a newsletter, it was published ten times a year in
one color. Over time it has evolved into a much larger full color publication
that is published twice a year. The weekly Pause for Beauty offsets
the less frequent issue mailings.
In a sense,
A Pause for Beauty is the journal that feeds the semi-annual publication.
A Pause for Beauty consists of the rougher notes out of which the more
thought-through print publication evolves. We encourage people who enjoy A
Pause for Beauty to consider subscribing to The Heron Dance Nature
Art Journal. They complement each other. Each has a role. The print publication
offers a quieter experience of beauty and reflection. It also offers an opportunity
to support all of the work that Heron Dance does, including A Pause for
Beauty and our support of dozens of wilderness protection groups and other
nonprofits.
