The Heron Dance Nature Art Journal
Future issues of The Heron Dance Nature Art Journal (formerly Heron Dance) will expand on the theme and format of the 72 page journal published in April 2008. Each
issue will contain dozens of paintings in full color and each will continue to be printed on recycled
paper. Subjects explored will in some way relate to the beauty and mystery of the natural world and include journal notes, book excerpts, poetry and interviews.

Publication Schedule:
Our print publication comes out twice a year. Issue 56 mailed the second week of October. So that new subscribers won’t have to wait six months to receive their first issue, issues will also be mailed to new subscribers once a month for three months after the release of a particular issue.
The creative nature of our work (Rod sometimes paints the same painting over several times before getting something he is happy with) means that publishing dates are somewhat flexible.
We do offer a selection of back issues. Click
here to view.
