• Free Shipping. We offer free Media Mail Shipping as token of our appreciation to those who use our website to place an order as it really helps us out a lot. However, using Media Mail to ship is only an option within the Continental U.S. and is not a option for art—originals, limited edition and single matted prints must be insured and are therefore sent via UPS. See "Media Mail Shipping" below for more information regarding delivery lead times.

 

• Media Mail Shipping is free and a good choice when you don’t need things in a hurry, and you can receive shipments via US Mail. In most instances shipments arrive within 5-14 business days but (particularly during the holiday season) can take as long 21 days. If your FREE SHIPPING order does not arrive within 21 days, please feel free to contact us. In the strange way things often happen, shipments are often delivered the next day after someone contacts us.

 

• Shipping Cost Per Order. The shipping cost per order applies to each “Ship To” address.

 

• Order Processing Times Our delivery estimations (above) include order processing time. Over 85% of orders are shipped within 24 hours, but can take longer for prints. We're hoping to achieve the 24 hour target now that we have outside fulfillment, even during the holiday season.

 

• Originals and limited Edition prints are shipped separately from other items and will arrive separately. Heron Dance uses a distribution company for everything other than prints (i.e., books, calendars, notecards, and blank journals). Prints and originals are shipped from our office.

 

• Processing Times On Prints. Please order Limited Edition Prints as early as you can, particularly during the holiday season, as each has to be custom printed, signed and numbered by artist Roderick MacIver and double matted.

 

• Next Day Shipping does not guarantee same day service. We try to be as fair as possible with our order processing and give priority to the orders as they are received. We do not offer an expedited processing option...but will do our very best to get your package out quickly. Packages will be delivered by the end of the next business day once they have shipped.

 

• UPS Shipping costs apply only to addresses in the 48 contiguous states. Extra charges apply for UPS orders going to Alaska, Hawaii and APO/FPO.

 

• International Shipping. Because of costs and complications at international borders we do not ship outside of the United States. We do offer The Heron Dance Journal internationally.

 

• Business days do not include weekends or holidays.

 

• Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO Please allow 5-10 extra business days for delivery on orders shipping to addresses in Alaska, Hawaii and APO/FPO.

 

• The Heron Dance Nature Art journal is sent using non-profit bulk mail or media mail, so it can take up to three weeks for delivery.

 

• Gift Subscriptions. All gift subscription recipients receive a postcard notice announcing your gift within six weeks of purchase. Gift recipients receive their first issue to Heron Dance at the time of our next mailing (within six months).

 

• Items Received Damaged. We do our best to securely package your orders, but occasionally for reasons beyond our control, items arrive damaged. If you receive a damaged item, please email us (service@herondance.org)or call us at (888) 304 3766 and press "0" when the phone system answers. In all cases, our unconditional guarantee applies, and we will replace the damaged item, but we need to hear from you so that we can contact the shipper.
