Below the push and pull of our everyday lives and the conscious minds that allow us to find our way through the hubbub, there exists a reservoir of life experience and wisdom that can guide us and provide important insights. The premise of the Heron Dance Meditations Journal Binder, its art and journal notes is that the combination of meditation and journaling can help us access those insights and organize them so that they can guide us and shape the potentials of our future. A life organized so that it takes into consideration the patterns of our past, and our unique potentials for the future, including creative potentials, is a different life than one spent reacting to this or that apparently urgent demand or impulse.

The Meditations Journal Binder is designed to hold the quarterly loose leaf publication, Journal Meditations, which is printed on paper 11 by 8.5 inches horizontal or landscape. In addition to the print editions offered by Heron Dance, these are available as PDFs which you can download and print yourself. The first printed issue, A Poet’s Moods, is shown below.

This binder system is designed for maximum flexibility. Each binder comes with five tabbed dividers that you can use to separate the content by quarter or separate your own journal notes and sketches from the Heron Dance quarterly editions. You can order premium journal writing and sketch paper from Heron Dance that is designed to fit the binder or less expensive economy papers that will fit the binder rings although will be considerably smaller in width (5.5 inches wide as opposed to 11 inches). Each binder can hold at least 250 pages.
